Northwest Lab observed its 43rd anniversary on June 25, celebrating a year of accomplishments that included providing services to more than 23,000 people in the region and beyond.
NWREL employees, board members, guests, and retirees gathered to mark the occasion. Board Chair Jerry Colonna, superintendent of the Beaverton (OR) School District, told the crowd that “it’s a distinct honor to have been chosen for a leadership role in an organization that has so much going for it … and the going’s been good on many fronts.” Among the milestones he mentioned:
